Our Journey: Daily Activities

Action pour les Droits Solidaires (ADS) in partnership with Community Outreach for Resilience and Development (CORD) celebrating the world menstrual hygiene awareness day with women and young girls from Nyiragongo health zone, Nord Kivu-DRC. This year 2025 theme was “🩸 Menstrual equity: bleeding with dignity, a right for all! 🩸”

The event was marked with the distribution of sanitary pads, a symbolic action of breaking taboos and the associated stigma. Girls shared their challenging personal experiences and suggested recommendations for improving menstrual hygiene.
